Senior Adult Ministry

At Ninety Six First Baptist we have an active and fun Senior Adult Ministry. We believe our seniors are some of the most gifted, wise, and special individuals in our church.

Sonshiners

Our Sonshiners meet on the first Tuesday of each month to eat, fellowship, hear from God’s Word, and enjoy a fun and educational program. In addition to our monthly gatherings, Sonshiners take regular trips to the mountains, beach, shopping, etc.

GEM Ministry

Our GEM Ministry seeks primarily to serve those who are not able to attend church services or only attend on a limited basis due to their health or caring for a family member. Our mission is to demonstrate God's Love and the love of Ninety Six First Baptist Church for senior adults and shut-ins that are part of our church and connected to our church by family or community relationships.  Our desire is to Go, Encourage, and Minister to them with a pure heart."
